More playground time

He discovered one of his hats the other day and insisted on wearing.  And wearing it backwards no less.

And on another day he insisted on wearing that hat to the baseball game.  Again, insists on wearing it backwards or sideways.

Playground Time

No words needed for this post.  Who doesn't love a fun day at the playground?

March Madness - a little late

I meant to get these posted while the Tournament was still going on, but, well, I just didn't get it done!  Nonetheless, Brady still loves playing with sports balls.  He found a basketball at the playground and decided it was HIS!  Look at him running from those girls.

Cruising

'Tis the season for playtime outside!  And when we play outside, Brady has do some cruising in his Cozy Coupe.  We have taken out the bottom of his coupe, so this year he actually has to learn how to propel himself.  He's not a huge fan of that, but is getting more used to it.

38 Weeks

Your baby has really plumped up. She weighs about 6.8 pounds and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). She has a firm grasp, which you'll soon be able to test when you hold her hand for the first time! Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb.

Well, nothing new to report from our 38-week appointment.  Still just dilated to a 1.  We have another weekly appointment next week and if she hasn't arrived by then, we'll have some fetal testing done on Tuesday, April 19th just to make sure everything is going okay.  Just playing the waiting game now!

Toy Story 3 on Ice

We had the great pleasure of seeing Toy Story 3 on Ice on Sunday in Kansas City.  I didn't get great pictures because I was enjoying the show just as much as Brady, but I did capture a few.  We had great tickets--in the front row about 2 feet from the ice!

Brady had a great, great time.  He was mesmerized by the whole thing and never did take his eyes off of the action.  This was a common look on his face--is it shock?  wonderment?  Who knows!
It was a great time and something that may become an annual event.  Even though it was during Brady's typical nap time, he did just fine and even walked from the parking garage to the Sprint Center and back just holding my hand.  What a big kid!

37 Weeks

Your baby is now considered "full term," even though your due date is three weeks away. If you go into labor now, his lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb. (Some babies need a bit more time, though. So if you're planning to have a repeat c-section, for example, your practitioner will schedule it for no earlier than 39 weeks unless there's a medical reason to intervene earlier.)
Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard).

Well, we are 37 weeks along and at this point it appears I have made life much too comfortable for Miss B because she is in no hurry to make her arrival.  I'm dilated to a 1 and made a little progress from last week, but not much else.  At this rate we might have an Easter baby or later!
