6 month stats

I took Brady to his 6-month checkup this morning. Turns out the little guy has an ear infection. He had a cold before we went to the Big 12 Tournament and I took him to the doctor, but they didn't find any fluid in his ears or anything alarming. Well, he had fluid in his ears today. Not too much, but enough to necessitate a round of antibiotics. Brady never did have a fever or stop eating, so the doctor said "he appears to have a higher tolerance for pain."

So, the vital statistics. He weighs a whopping 13 pounds, which isn't even on the charts. He is 24 1/2 inches long, which places him the 1% category. And his head is int he 97% category. He has a huge head, but otherwise is short and skinny. The doctor said he's gaining weight at an appropriate pace and he's probably genetically predisposed to being slender, so he's not worried. I told him Brady's feeding schedule and he chuckled--said Brady clearly doesn't have a problem eating food, so that bodes well for the future.

Here's the precious guy this morning hanging out before we went to the doctor.
