Well, the new Kauffman stadium is beautiful. Can't wait to take Brady, because there is a ton of fun stuff for kids in the outfield area. The whole experience is great. That is, until it's time for the first pitch. The Royals lost to the White Sox the night we attended. Bah humbug. But besides the actual game it was great. Oh, and besides the fact I gimped around the entire night--nursing a little injury from marathon training! It was Buck Night, so we enjoyed some dollar hot dogs, Pepsi drinks and peanuts. On top of it, it was also Fireworks Friday. The fireworks were great. It started to rain, so I think they ended them quickly by shooting off everything they had in the last 30 seconds. But still a great time!
